As Baba Rai, the Singer-Songwriter Rainer Baumgartner carries his music out into the world and into people‘s hearts. 

The titel of his brandnew EP with its release on March 20th is motto for the upcoming shows this year: 

„Frei sei“ (meaning „Being free“)

Together with his band, he is delivering his music on the basis of Folk, Rock and Reggae with english, german and bavarian lyrics. Since 2010, the native Bavarian has been receiving songs, that he describes as „Soulfood, Wellness and Medicine“. With the help of his good friends Stefan Musch (Drums, Percussion), Thomas Petermeier (Bass, Flute) and Roland Schröder (Saxophone, Bass, Percussion), Baba Rai passionately encourages community, destiny, purity and peace and everybody is invited to join the journey: no eye to stay dry, no spirit to stay unawakened, no leg to stay unmoved! 

Armed with an invincible believe in the good core of every human and beeing, the band adresses the recipient of their expression, intension, vibration and power on eye-hight - and what‘s even more important these days - at heart-hight. 

Sweeping arrangements, boundless joy of playing, mantras, sing-along lyrics, percussion orgies, excessive solos and driving rock antics are capable of picking up attandees of all ages and fashions for an unforgettable and idealy transforming trip. 

For their incredible travell to the „Sounds beatiful Festival“, they packed up Baba Rais english songs that are all part of the upcoming album entitled „For the best“ including the two Flat Earth anthems „Plane simple“ and „Here on earth“.
